PlugData not opening and not responding when plugdata folder is unsynced in an iCloud environment

Hi everyone,

I hope this is the right place to post, because I am unsure whether this belongs here. I found out from a colleague who is using iCloud on Mac and using plug data both as a standalone application and AU plugins in Logic Pro, that when the plug data folder is in an iCloud Drive environment (basically a cloud service from apple), it might happen that the folder is moved to the cloud only which results in both the standalone and the AU plugins to freezing when opening (nothing opens). This makes total sense to me now that I know about it, since there is some important stuff there, however I was wondering whether it would be possible to either get a warning that important files are missing, or maybe only to mention it in the documentation. Thanks a lot!
