iPad multitasking menu covers app content

On my iPad Air the edit mode buttons are covered by the 3 dot system multitasking menu. Would it be possible to move these so they are not centered in the middle of the top of the screen? In particular the button to leave edit mode is almost impossible to reach.

Could you send a screenshot of this? I don't have an iPad but I haven't noticed this in the simulator

I have a video of this, the 3 buttons on top are unclickable because of the 3 dots from iPadOS
