can't open stuff from palette

when opening sidebar palette (mac m2 max) on 0.8.3: palette/bitcrusher.m~ ... couldn't create palette/chorus.m~ ... couldn't create ... couldn't create palette/delay.m~ ... couldn't create palette/drive.m~ .... etc. do I need to install additional components?

Standalone or one of the plugin versions?

I've seen this happen before, last time the solution was to remove the ~/Documents/plugdata/Extra folder. If that doesn't work you can also try deleting the ~/Documents/plugdata folder entirely. Best way to do it is first close plugdata, then delete the folder and restart plugdata.

I've tried to solve this problem in the latest nightly builds, though this problem only seems to happen every now and then, making it hard to verify that it's really solved.

Let me know if this didn't help, then I'll keep looking!
