how to open a file? drag and drop doesn't seem to work

I'm having the same issue on the demo. Using Chrome Version 36.0.1985.143 m.

Same issue here. The current tab crashes.

It works but would be also be nice to have a file picker option so the user has the alternative option to browse for files rather than drag and drop.
