Inline math breaks boldness

Things like **$(o, \ell)$-complete** (from this page) are transformed to something like **$(o, \ell)\textnormal{-complete}$**, which loses the boldness information. Maybe we could walk Inlines, keeping track of when we encounter a Strong or Emph and reflect this appropriately in the generated LaTeX, or maybe there's a way to make textnormal aware that it's in a bold context somehow?
