please support AIX

Problem

AIX has not seen many recent utilities which are helpful to system admins. Porting to this Unix variant would make navigation on AIX way easier.

Description

Probably needs some adjustments (other APIs), although most POSIX standards should be supported.

Alternatives

I don't know of any other alternatives.

Additional information

Hmm maybe ask an IBM employee how to get an AIX machine (ppc64 arch) and an OS license.
