Inconsistent bar widths with grids on Marimekko

I'm trying to make equal width bars with Marimekko chart to make a histogram, but the width of the bars don't match exactly with the grid.

It's probably due to rounding, the grid and the bars use a different way to compute their dimensions, why not using a bar chart?

Because with bar chart the grid lines are in the middle of the bars. I want to make a histogram with grid lines between bars
