Question: Are you already supporting soft/curved lines in parallel coordinates plot?
Dear community,
I'm using the graph object to plot the parallel coordinate plot. Everything works well, but I want to draw soft or curved lines in the parallel coordinate plot like below image.

Is it possible?
Thanks, Pritesh
This is not possible at the moment, no.
Thank you for your response. Should this issue be converted to feature or should I close it?
This cubic Bézier curves are very interesting as someone implemented using matplotlib. https://stackoverflow.com/a/60401570/10451749
I will love to see this feature in Plotly. Thanks.
Support for cubic bezier curve connections between the features/values would be great. It makes the plots often clearer when lots of data points are used.
Hi - we are trying to tidy up the stale issues and PRs in Plotly's public repositories so that we can focus on things that are still important to our community. Since this one has been sitting for a while, I'm going to close it; if it is still a concern, please add a comment letting us know what recent version of our software you've checked it with so that I can reopen it and add it to our backlog. Alternatively, if it's a request for tech support, please post in our community forum. Thank you - @gvwilson
I appreciate the attempt to clear up old issues, and I can vouch that this would be a useful feature, and is still very much desired. Would you be able to add it to your backlog?
hi @bernardbeckerman - happy to reopen and add to our backlog, but it may be quite some time before someone can get to it :-/
