API reference pages crash when using IE and Microsoft Edge

Is this the same as the CSS mess I'm seeing opening https://plot.ly/javascript/3d-scatter-plots/ in IE/win10 in Browserstack? The giant ever-present footer and non-disappearing header mean there's little room to see the content: screen shot 2017-09-06 at 6 50 19 pm

Also, even Chrome is complaining about one CSS file on that page:

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://plot.ly/javascript/3d-scatter-plots/' was loaded over HTTPS,
but requested an insecure stylesheet 'http://help.plot.ly/stylesheets/plotly_icons.css'.
This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
