Cell with dropdown does not allow for backspace

When editing the value of a cell with a dropdown after double clicking, the value can only be appended with more characters. If a typo was made when filtering the dropdown, pressing the backspace key doesn't do anything and you must click outside the cell to clear the input. However, if you double click on a cell without a dropdown to enable cell editing and then double click on a cell with a dropdown, the backspace key works as expected.
