The Square folks have officially given up on supporting their version of the crossfilter.js library. Some of the team that works on dc.js helped make a dedicated crossfilter organization that maintains a crossfilter2 version on npm ( https://www.npmjs.com/package/crossfilter2 ) and github ( https://crossfilter.github.io/crossfilter/ ).

I don't believe there's anything really wrong with the old library yet, but the new version has moved on with a few new feature additions and bug fixes.
