modal doesn't work in an iframe

In an iframe the following happens

• the position is calculated based on the screen view port. so middle can be off the iframes view
• scroll bars are disabled so you can't even scroll to it

options

1. be able to specify the window you want the modal to act on so you can tell it to popup over the top window?
