Advocating for correction of language used to describe transgender persons in "You'll Regret Using Natural Keys"
Hi, to make your recent blog post You'll Regret Using Natural Keys sound less antagonistic towards people who are transgender I'd recommend changing the following paragraph as follows:
As an example, for technical-historical reasons, the Danish CPR number carries information (which keys shouldn't do), such as a person's date of birth and assigned sex. Since 2014 a new law enables ~~transsexual~~ transgender citizens to get a new CPR number that reflects their ~~perceived~~ gender identity. The consequence is that the same person may have more than one CPR number. Perhaps not more than one at the same time, but definitely two during a lifetime.
In the above block quote bolded words mean additions and ~~strike through~~ words mean removals.
Thanks for your consideration in this matter.
