Release on crates.io
A release on crates.io would be really awesome! However, there's an unfortunate namespace collision. Would you mind renaming this crate? I've opened #13 for this.
Any chance we can get this published? I've got another library that depends on this, the one and only Rust mDNS responder I could find, that I cannot currently push to crates.io due to the git dependency.
The main blocker for this is #3, getting rid of my dns-parser fork. Since then some of the features I've had to add were also added upstream, so I don't think this should be too difficult. I'll give that a go this evening.
It would be nice to have some documentation as well, but this isn't really a blocker for a first release.
@plietar That would be lovely!
So there's actually a few more things that need to be upstreamed, which will probably take me a few days, plus how ever long it takes to have PRs merged.
This crate is just what I need. Is this still likely to happen?
@twe4ked There are still blockers. You should be able to use the libmdns crate instead, which was forked from this project and fixed.
Ah great. Thanks for the quick reply!
