MacOS - mouse cursor stays on screen after notification
Whenever I receive a (native MacOS) notification the mouse cursor pops back up. After a few seconds the notification goes away but the mouse cursor stays. Only way to make mouse disappear again is to move it again. This is quite clumsy when watching from a distance and using the Plex mobile app as a remote.
@olbrew : could you please confirm if this is still happenning ?
Hi @LongChair unfortunately it's still there, tested on version 6e77dc0c. I think it might have to do with the non-standard way you're Plex is trying to go full-screen on Mac. For example when I open Plex Media Player from Spotlight while the currently active app is in a native full-screen, Plex opens behind the app and is impossible to make visible until manually restarted.
@olbrew : i'm not sure what "non" standard way you're talking about ? Could you be more specific on what you consider non standard ? :)
The "official, native" version is the one used by most applications when you press the green button in the window bar. The window will re-open in a new "space" as opposed to overlaying the current space.
A good way to see the difference is to check the "Use the native fullscreen mode" option in VLC, which can be found under Video -> Fullscreen settings.

The issue is still present with the latest new version of PMP when trying to play in Fullscreen mode (macOS green button) :
PMS Version: 1.16.5.1488 PMP Version: Version 1.1.0.831-e1ae73b1 Platform (Windows/macOS/Embedded RPi/Embedded Intel): macOS 10.13.6
@Ribero you are reporting an issue with the Plex "Player for Mac" app. This repository here is for "Plex Media Player" which is a different app.
