Subtitle Display Delay

Description:

When first loading a file with subtitles, like Anime, there is a delay when the subtitles will actually show. This is usually about 5 seconds after watching the video and I will need to rewind to the beginning to see the missed subtitles. They work properly in the standalone Plex app and if playing them directly through Kodi. This only happens in Plex for Kodi itself.

  • Kodi version: 18.X
  • OS Platform: Android TV 9 and FireOS
  • Hardware: Sony X900H and Firestick

Same issue here. Always had this problem. Seems to be the same as https://github.com/plexinc/plex-for-kodi/issues/127
