Plexdrive automatically unmounts

Open ghost opened this issue 8 years ago • 4 comments

Hi, I am trying to mount Plexdrive so Plex can look towards Google Drive, however, Plexdrive is unable to get past the initial library scan without unmounting itself. I've restarted the computer and tried again, changed the mount location, deleted the config files after each attempt, however nothing seems to fix it from unmounting itself.

My verbose output is below with all the client IDs etc removed. https://pastebin.com/ACbhVbbU

Other information:

  • MacOS High Sierra
  • plexdrive-darwin-amd64 5.0.0-beta.1501607765
  • FUSE for macOS 3.7.1

Cheers!

Please use the stable version.

Can your CPU handle more than 8 threads? Because that is what you want it to do.

Maybe other Mac users can help you. I don't own one.

There's no 5.0 for MacOS High Sierra, so would version 4.0 plexdrive-darwin-10.6-amd64 work?

I'm a little confused for what version to use for the latest version of MacOS

@Azuraxe , use Version 4; it's solid. Hasn't unmounted, crashed, or ever stopped. If you want to install it simply, use the plexguide installer at http://plexguide.com - I have @dweidenfeld program built into the program for simplicity and it will automatically install the service so you do not have to mess with it. V5 always has issues and it's not you (apolgize dweidenfeld, but even others told me the same).
