Run E2E tests for PRs

No.

Describe the solution you'd like

Currently we run a daily basis E2E tests, but this is not enough.

Ideally we should run E2E tests for each PR, and post E2E results in the PR comment.

Possible challenges:

  • E2E tests are slow, PR will need to wait for a long time before it can be merged
  • A lot of GitHub action time consumptions. Luckily we are an OSS project that can use GitHub actions for free.
  • If E2E tests are not passed, the PR author will have to wait for QA to commit new E2E test code.
