stereoscopic skybox
i was wondering if it is possible to use 2 left/right images for skybox environment

would it be possibe with playcanvas engine?
You could modify shader chunk for the skybox, providing a second texture to it, and then can use view_index (int uniform) to identify the eye being rendered.
Although, while this technique can provide good result when looking in one specific direction, it falls short when you rotate around. For best effect, you would want to provide a depth information for the scene, and render skybox with depth offset mesh.
