Some kind of UI warning when attempting to debug without a debug adapter configured?

On STM32, if I try to debug without configuring an adapter, nothing happens, and no warning or error is visible, which is confusing since I can upload just fine.

It's a very minor issue, but maybe there should be a UI popup for new users?
