Connection Pools and connection limits

Hi, I'm interested to move to PlanetScale for production and move away from hosted relational databases, my only question regarding this migration is connection limits. and how on serverless environment like Nextjs and Vercel this issue is addressed from planetScale ? i couldn't find any documentation on this topic.
