FMP logic gates and rotation

Open masterzh opened this issue 9 years ago • 6 comments

FMP logic gates issues (any carriage):

  • When rotated horizontally they reset their rotation.
  • When rotated vertically logic gates break.

I will check cables and rednet and update this issue.

thanks

Have you seen this with BluePower, Project:Red or both?

Project:Red and immibis RedLogic. (Blue Power gates are kind of derping)

I've made a first draft of Project:Red tiles. I've looked at BluePower ones as well, but they seem trickier to deal with.

1. Attached logic gate moving from original space/position to new one while rotating either horizontal or vertical get destroyed. Use created save/map to test.(including all mods) http://www.mediafire.com/download/r9644d7q0css9sp/minecraft.zip

http://i.imgur.com/I1GqbEE.jpg Pressing button all logic gates break.

2. Rotating logic gates while they dont change original space/position keep facing original general direction instead of corresponding/matching the rotation.

I have Project:Red gates handled, but I don't have any other mod - each stores its heading data in a separate format.

  1. I reproduced this issue successfully, now let's see what's going on...
  2. Which gate are you using, and what direction are you facing, in the screenshot?

On picture same as in gamesave are Project Red gates. Mentioned behavior was the same for all tested types of gates. Blue power as far as i tried behave the same. Whenever gate doesnt move only rotate it doesn't update direction and keep facing the original one. https://i.imgur.com/nvGh6KI.jpg

  • It doesnt matter if clockwise or opposite side.
  • On picture are only scenarios rotating gate facing up and to the west. However this apply to all directions.
