Cosmo doesn't recognize bigger SD cards
When trying to add bigger SD cards to Cosmo, it just shows dialog about need of formatting, but never completes it even told to format.
Same cards work fine with much older phones, so issue doesn't seem to be too new cards.
Also after formatting screen disappears, card is only visible at all after reboot. So before reboot it seems that there's no card installed.
Logs and images will be added a bit later when connecting phone to computer for better log collection.
How big a card are you trying to use? Planet Computers don't seem to have specified which SD card capacity standard it uses. Given I happily use a 64GB card in mine, I can only assume it's at least SDXC. Perhaps the formatting function or your card is broken - have you tried formatting it on a computer?
@ZimbiX I formatted and used card fine on both computer with separate memory card reader and also on older phone (probably Sony Xperia Go from 2012).
I think latest one I used was 8Gb card.
I tried with multiple (FAT, FAT32, formatting with another Android), and all resulted same thing: dialog to ask to format the card, and just disappearing after a while when formatting has started (and went to some percentage).
But that's some time ago already, and might also be HW or card issue.
For some reason card is recognized as "Samsung SD" even formatted for multiple times.
Card formats and works fine on Astro.
Damn; I'm out of ideas then. So it definitely works with smaller cards? Weird! Sounds like it could be an issue with just your device maybe
Have to check, can't remember now as took SD card to get Linux on Cosmo.
I reported that at the time I got Cosmo to PC, but no answer so kind of forgotten the thing and left Cosmo to drawer to wait for updates.

I was able to use a 512GB SD card in my Cosmo (Integral), and I've not heard of any issues with higher-capacity cards on Cosmo, so I'm going to close this issue as device-specific, and recommend you contact Planet.
Actually contacted couple of times without answer. Maybe just bad luck with device or card, but Astro at least works fine with that.

I have a 256GB sandisk that works well on both my Cosmo and my Astro with no issue,happily moving 10s of GB back and forth
Yeah, I think it could be a bug with the UI, but I too had a 256GB SD for my Cosmo, and it worked great.
So I'm of two minds whenever to close this issue.
