Dependencies -- are all of them necessary?

Now the environment folder takes 3.7 Gb after fresh installation on the top of miniconda (Latest - Conda 4.10.3 Python 3.9.5 released July 21, 2021). Are all dependencies mandatory, e.g. jupyter and all its extensions?
