Do not save author's orcid

I have an issue when try to save an author with orcid. The orcid doesn't record.

Yes, I'm testing the lastest version of plugin and have the issue, with older version same. Tested with Firefox and Chrome. PHP 7.1. OJS 3.1.2-1.

So I suppose you're entering the ORCID information into Texture, rather than into the OJS "Add Contributor" modal? Maybe a screenshot of where you're entering it would help.

@withanage, this seems very likely to me to be a Texture problem, rather than a Texture OJS plugin problem -- but you probably know better than I do!

I have just tested your scenario. It is indeed a bug in the texture editor, that it does not save the orcid id. We only maintain the ojs plugin and save the jats xml that texture creates, not the editor currently. There is a newer version of the editor, we are going to integrate soon. I will keep you updated on that as soon as we have it.
