PubMed Central Integration

As part of the OSS ORE project, a deposit integration with Pubmed Central is needed.

Deposit integrations will be required for Pubmed Central Preprints and articles will be linked to underlying data and software or algorithms or other tools and outputs in publicly accessible repositories. Content and metadata distributed to repositories and indexes, including Pubmed Central.

Deposit packages for PMC include:

• Full-text XML (JATS preferred)
• Images
• PDF
• Supplementary material

PMC's website indicates that deposit packages are uploaded via FTP (not a deposit API).
