This has been implemented but need to be documented.

The big question is how we can decide the modification date of the catalogue? The last date a record modified as recorded in the MARC/PICA record? I found that sometime the value of the date is unrealistic (e.g. a future date). The time of file modification might be unreliable as it might be changed in the process of compressing/download/uncompressing. What is your suggestion? In the system there is a file (documentation is needed) which contains the last modification date, but I am unsure what to put there.

Better explicitly configure the date via parameter than any kind of guessing.
