hi! Thanks for making these recipes. Have you tried out working on the new casa 6 already? I made a start but running into issues:

Hey @gijzelaerr , I haven't looked into CASA 6 yet. The error that you're seeing makes it look like that the NRAO CASA team is rolling some seriously customized (i.e. hacky) stuff into their build scripts. If you can figure out what OS/platform they're building on, my first approach would be to try to run a build on as exact a clone as you can muster ... but that might not be an option if you're trying to get everything going in the Kern Suite framework. For instance, the NRAO instructions include a yum install, so they're probably CentOS instead of Ubuntu/Debian :-(

For CASA 5 I found that numerous patches were needed to get everything building in my environment, and it looks like CASA 6 probably won't be very different :-/
