If Edit flow doesn't solve this (require investigation), then a simple code addition on `transition_post_status` would probably suffice and would be preferable to another plugin.
It looks like the conflicts in `public_html/wp-content/plugins/wcpt/wcpt-meetup/meetup-loader.php` change some of the permissions, but not sure if it's solved completely (probably not), would you mind taking a look @timiwahalahti to confirm?
 It is consistent with the [WordCamp form](https://central.wordcamp.org/wordcamp-organizer-application/), and it seems like that has probably been this way for a while.
