When navigating to birthday web part sample: https://adoption.microsoft.com/sample-solution-gallery/birthdays-web-part from the gallery preview Note, not all samples break, just seems this one is susceptible to the error. 
I can search for multiple authors e.g "Paul" ('cos i have a big head and no samples 😢 - clearly i need to work harder) but Hugo Sample appeared in...
If the sample gallery is relying on good quality metadata from the source repos, would it be a good idea to have a staging area that can visually confirm that...
Just thinking, from mixed sample view, it feels difficult to see if its related to web parts or power apps etc: 
Categories 1/4 showing along with PowerFx  To repo, this is on the homepage when you select the filter straight out
