programs.plasma.panels.*.opacity does not seem to work

I have this inside my configuration

and everything seems to work except opacity = "opaque"; for some reason it just doesn't affect anything and the panels stays adaptive. And I have overrideConfig enabled

I tried even further and found out that none of the options are working...
