Tilemap doesn't render since pixi 8.7.0

Demos only renders the sprite, no tilemap.

Hi @erikhoj or @ivanpopelyshev any extra info on the status of this issue you can share? Since MR 171, main doesn't seem to be building at all in this project, I was hoping there might be an updated release which supportes the latest PixiJS

I can reproduce the issue.. is there any idea what causes this?

You can take TS files from this repo to your project and it'll work. Unfortunately i didnt have enough time to fix everything and publish current version this week

Still present as of pixi 8.10.1 Last version that renders tilemaps for me is 8.5.2

The demos linked form the readme stopped working for me on all devices where they used to work. I assume related to this issue.

I thought I was going crazy when tilemap wasn’t rendering but it seems it’s this bug! 😅

Any ETA on when the fix wilk get published?

Published the latest on main as 5.0.2. Does anyone here want to help take on the management of this project? Looking for volunteers.
