Currently I can't get text input working in Edge or Firefox

It works on Chrome but in Firefox and Edge pressing keys does not result in input.

It looks to me like the addEventListener for the temp input is being added correct on 3985 of pixi-ui.js But that the associated inputEvent never fires.

I think it's possibly because the this.blur function which removes event listeners is called directly after they've been set up.

Maybe blur is being called in the wrong place?

sorry for the late response.

Soon I'll rewrite the text input completely, so it uses DynamicText (I visit features as I need them for my current project)

Ill make sure it will work properly in all browsers

Oh that's ok! I got a fix for it in the end, though not an elegant one, so I won't share it. I look forward to your rewrite, since I get a lot of use out of PIXI UI.
