Scale Button not working. Image format stays 1:1

I tried to upload a landscape format image through my camera gallery, but am not able to scale it to its full form factor.

I can resize the 1:1 crop but can't change it to the format of the original image. It stays 1:1 and the scale button doesn't trigger a change.

I'm able to adjust the crop selection tool by dragging the corners of the box, but then when I proceed with the post it resizes it as 1:1 with a stretched image.

I want to drag the sides of the box to keep the image centered, but that doesn't work.

There should definitely be an aspect ratio selector which includes "original aspect ratio" and other common options, to lock the aspect ratio while cropping.

This is probably the biggest problem with app rn imo.

Dragging the crop selection tool let me shrink the selection to a landscapish format, but not extend it (or only with a lot of screen-zooming-aspect-ratio-guessing). I can imagen the "scale" button should do would I want (-> extending the crop selection to the full original format), but it's not doing anything when hitting it.

Ran into the same issue resizing issue on the next screens as well.
