[Android Play Store beta] App crashes when creating direct messages

The app crashes reproducibly when a new direct message is addressed and you then click in the text field.

Xiaomi MIUI Global 14.0.6

Pixelfed (Google Beta) - Can't find any version number in the app. Android says 1.0.0
