Is the /compat/linux/proc file available there, like it is on FreeBSD?

No, not at that location at least. Unfortunately I don't know the equivalent on OSX.

It seems from a very quick search that FreeBSD has linprocfs while OSX does not. Therefore it would need some investigation from someone with access to OSX to implement.

Unfortunately, OSX doesn't have proc. Are there are any plans to support OSX?

Well I do now have access to macOS, but this is low pri TBH. I still don't know if macOS provides the required info
