[Feature] Vim editor Pop-up like the one in the SurfingKeys Browser Extension

The SurfingKeys Browser Extension has a feature where you can open a little vim editor to edit your text and then have it inserted into the text box. Having something like this would be pretty neat for things that aren't in the browser.

The current edit mode can be somewhat awkward, buggy and doesn't feel as good as an actual vim editor (which is to be expected) or something like the little pop up editor from SurfingKeys.

I genuinely have no idea if it would be even possible to have something like that everywhere on the OS nor how well it would actually perform compared to the one in SurfingKeys, but I figured it's worth mentioning in case you want to look into it/consider adding something like that.

I'm not considering implementing that feature at this time but will consider it when we have more contributors in this project.

Currently, there are several alternative software available.

• Text Editor Anywhere (Windows)
• vim-anywhere (Mac/Linux)
• firenvim
