@gilbh I think the reason it is selected even with `` is because `blockstylecaret_mode` is set to flex. Please try `set blockstylecaret_mode=solid` or `set noblockstylecaret`. https://pit-ray.github.io/win-vind/cheat_sheet/options/#block-style-caret
Perhaps it is the same problem as #187.
Are there any error logs in the `~/.win-vind/logs`? Since I want to reproduce this problem with Windows sandbox, could you share your environment, such as Windows buind version or architectures?...
