Default hide?

Am I missing some way of setting a default? Or setting it to use my last settings by default?

When I go to add, the default is always "highlight" and I have to change it every time to hide.

I prefer a method to set the default, or that it remembers my previous selection.

Not sure if it's new or I didn't notice it before. I've been using the link hover dropdown to hide which is very convenient. Nice!

Technically it still behaves the same with the icon dropdown, but I haven't used that at all since I found the hover.

Yes, I also would like to have this option: hide as a default and a quick way to add a new domain. Lately the search engines results are for me so polluted by "authority" mass media endless no saying propaganda pages. Would be great to have the ability to exchange the hide list as well.
