Piskel app (offline) can't be closed

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Open piskel app
  2. Draw anything without saving
  3. Close the program
  4. The program freeze

Environment details

  • operating system: Windows 20H2
  • browser (or offline application version): v 0.14.0

I need to use task manager to close the program

I also have the same issue when I open the .piskel file and exit without saving the file

After I quit the program with the task manager, there is a new line in the debug.log that looks like this

[0322/064107: ERROR: registration_protocol_win.cc (53)] CreateFile: The system cannot find the file specified. (0x2)

Strangely, the exit confirmation dialog is not showing, maybe that is the problem?

The exit dialog not showing seems to be the problem. Same happens when you try to rename a layer: the dialog doesn't show - but if you type the name "blind" and press enter, the layer is renamed.
