[Bug] Auto scroll to active tab does not work
Abstract
After 4.2.0 update the tab auto scroll to active tab does not work anymore if "Enable animation effects" is not checked in settings. For example Ctrl+Tab or new tab, if the target tab is out of visible scroll area then tab area still remains in old position. Also possible that the behavior was previously buggy and now works as intended so then it is not a bug. But still it took some time to discover why scrolling stopped after version update and the report might help others.
Steps to reproduce
Toggle "Enable animation effects" checkbox off if it is on.
Expected result
Tabs view should possibly show the posititon where active tab is even if "Enable animation effects" is off.
Actual result
Tabs view is static and does not change to show where active tab is.
Environment
- Platform (OS): Windowss 10
- Version of Firefox: 139.0.1
- Version (or revision) of Tree Style Tab: 4.2.0
Thanks, this regression should be fixed with the commit 0ada07a.
Where is 'Enable animation effects'? Yes, I'm a newbie here. There are so many options, it's not so easy to find them.

In TST options page almost on top. Also you can click the "Open this options page in more wide space" on top right and then it is possible to Ctrl+F all text in options, so much easier to find specific options.
Thanks, that's a great help until the patch comes through!
