are there ways to forward the player's external IP to the game server? Wireguard seems to play the role of a proxy server because the server sees the address 10.228.228.1 (ip wireguard) is it possible to make a normal IP for players using the wireguard tunnel?

Need to know more about your setup. Who and where is the "player", what is the config you're using, what are you trying to accomplish, etc.

wireguard is just a low-level tunnel, if you want to accomplish high level tasks like reverse proxying, etc. you need to do that all yourself with iptables or other routing tools, wireguard doesn't provide any of that automatically.
