I too really like the simplicity of this editor and use it fairly regularly to draft a short or temporary document.

I would like to see a print feature though - ideally activated with ctrl+p / cmd+p. Specifically to print out a pretty preview (not so much the raw markdown). Thanks.

Would be a great feature - select the output or perhaps output to an html formatted (htm5) file if required
