Ctrl-LMB locking rotation to out of range targets
Observed behaviour
Ctrl-LMB sets the navigational target and enables rotation matching to that target regardless of range. If the target is out of range, it is then impossible to disable rotation matching.
Expected behaviour
I was told that Ctrl-LMB could be used to manually set the frame of reference
Steps to reproduce
- Get in any ship
- Ctrl-LMB an object
My pioneer version (and OS): February 3 release, windows 10
My output.txt (required) and game save (optional, but recommended)
This has been improved by the addition of the ability to disable rotation/orientation matching of targets regardless of range.
Establishing the proper semantic behavior of Ctrl+LMB should be tackled in a separate PR; I will not be tackling that issue at this time in the interest of getting the hotfix out the door; other contributors are welcome to do so at any point.
