XYsubfilter: Massive frame drops with certain karaoke subtitles
Using MPC-HC + MadVR, Nvidia 3070 + Intel 8700k.
XYsubfilter has massive frame drops while karaoke subtitles are animating on screen, same issue with using MPC-HC's enhanced video renderer (custom presenter), so I don't think it has anything to do with MadVR in particular. In the MadVR debug console you can see the subtitle present queue drop out when the frame drops start.
Similar drops happen with the Cyberbeing releases too.
Enabling 'render to original video size' seems to alleviate some of it, but I'm not entirely sure what this is actually doing. I've tried tinkering with the various cache sizes in XYsubfilter but they did not seem to impact the drops.
Don't see any frame drop issues with VSfilter or MPC-HC's internal subtitle renderer.
Edit: Also tried on a 3090 + 11900k system with similar settings, the same drops occur.
Frame drops seem totally fixed with your branch, I will try it on the 2nd machine shortly.
I'm playing back the S3 intro for Dr Stone and the subtitles beat madVR's cache into submission, I need more than 64 CPU queue to prevent the frame drops. Currently using your latest version. I've tried doubling the cache and using faster subpixel positioning with no effect.

I have tried to optimise the performance but there is still some gap with mpv, try using the mpv series player or wait for the multi-threaded rendering PR to be merged in
