Would be nice to be able to mirror GitHub repositores you visit via galacteek to own IPFS node :)

Hi @kodxana

That's something to think about, it might be implemented at some point, thanks for the suggestion.

What is already possible, is to clone a ipfs-hosted git repository to the local filesystem, when using the UnixFS explorer (there'll be a button with a Git icon appearing on the right in this case).

Do you have link to UnixFS explorer? Can't find it anywhere.

The UnixFS explorer is shown in the files workspace when you are opening an IPFS object that represents a UnixFS directory. If you are not familiar with UnixFS, here's some documentation on this

From the filemanager for example, if you right-click a folder and select Explore directory (or hit Ctrl+x), it will open an explorer tab for that directory, listing its contents. Anywhere in the application where you see an Explore directory action, it will use the UnixFS explorer (for example from the clipboard manager).

Copy/paste a CID to the clipboard (example: bafybeicrk66iice4ggdgefyvbnwsla3l57oja4knhfwqzh4kxybrjiowlm) and it will appear in the clipboard manager (at the top right in the main toolbar). From there select Explore directory (or hit Ctrl+e).
