a few minor glitches

  • [ ] mousebind({ mod_key }, "btn_right" doesn't always start resizing of a floating window if it's just mapped. Dragging its corner restores the functionality. Seen with GTK4 apps
  • [ ] Pinnacle doesn't pass mouse scrolls (mouse btn 4/5) to waybar's backlight applet. Not confirmed
  • [x] Gnome-builder (GTK4 app)'s list bubble going far beyond the screen vertically

Please provide reproduction steps.

Pinnacle doesn't pass mouse scrolls (mouse btn 4/5) to waybar

Especially for this one because I am currently scrolling the volume widget right now and it definitely seems to work.

sorry, it indeed partially works: Volume is ok but backlight is not. Backlight shows the current value and changes when I change it externally. But doesn't react on mouse scroll.

  1. I push "Super" and start dragging a window. Size doesn't change.
  2. Then I drag the corner without "Super" and it works.
  3. After that "Super" dragging works.

This isn't a Pinnacle issue then. Are you sure your backlight module is set up properly? I'm able to scroll my backlight widget without problem.

I just found it's only for GTK4 applications like Nautilus, Fractal, etc.

JFYI https://github.com/pinnacle-comp/pinnacle/issues/304#issuecomment-2792586690 is gone now (upgrade from 78a9eba to the current HEAD)
