Auto discovery / no prompt / auto yes
Hello, I cant find an issue or option in the documentation Can I automatize the discovery task, without asking y/N if the folder not exists ?
/home/USER/.local/bin/vdirsyncer -c /home/USER/.config/vdirsyncer/config discover my_contacts
so i can run a system service (routine) Thanks
I have the same problem. I'm seeing this prompt whenever a new calendar or address book gets added:
Should vdirsyncer attempt to create it? [y/N]: y
This is the issue you mean, right?
Yes It should help to automate the process Doing it a first time, ok, for discovery Then doing it by default (Y), without prompting
Agreed. I just discovered the ongoing rewrite of vdirsyncer here. I didn't get around to test it, yet but maybe it already has this feature?
pimsync already implements this feature. When configured to synchronise "all collections", it automatically creates missing collections.
pimsync is still missing some feature present in vdirsyncer. Check the migration guide for a list of missing feature; if you don't need any of them, then I'd recommend using it instead.
