OpenBSD port
I'd like to use this, but there it's not in the ports tree. It wouldn't bother me to create a port for it, but I just wanted to make sure nobody else was going to make one.
I'm not aware of one. It's safe to assume that mates is not packaged for more than maybe three OSes.

Hey.. have you consider any progress about this? I tried to build it on OpenBSD 6.8 and didn't work, so yea some port working needed here.
I'm not in the business of creating packages for random bsd variants or linux distros. If you have build failures on openbsd then please post the errors though.
