Windows: clicking x button to close window leaves zombie processes

I need to get more info on how to track which sub-actors are being left behind but on Windows it doesn't seem like Qt is exiting correctly and the conda terminal gets stuck in a state where (at least with ib backend) there's a zombie brokerd still connected which prevents further re-runs of the chart app. Killing and restarting the conda terminal seems to make everything work again?

I'll try to come back with more info.
